Procedural Chrome Texture

After watching and practicing how to make materials in Blender 3D, I’ve made up a procedural chrome texture. Thanks to several tutorials I found on the Net I’ve created a wonderful and realistic chrome texture, scratches and some roughness included.

I’ve been learning 3D with 3DS Max and V-ray for a many years, but it’s now with Blender 3D I’m starting to understand the meanings of textures, nodes, etc. In a nutshell, I’m very happy how things have changed since the version 2.49 of Blender, moreover with the Cycles render engine.

Despite the difficulties of migration from 3DS Max to Blender, I’m realizing that is the best choice I’ve ever made.

Below I’ll show you the result of the procedural chrome material and the nodes I’ve used in.
