Wet ground

I’ve recently bump into a way to how to get a wet street with puddles. In the end it is easy to edit the final texture (with Gimp) thanks to several free images I have got from the Net, and I realise that painting some parts on the texture in a greyish tone can make them more reflective than the others, so the final render shows a wet result.

It is interesting how the node ColorRamp works and the possibilities that offers. We can take control of the render making the final result more interesting, and, why not… more grumpier.
